New Marlboro Preserve

The 1.3-mile loop trail is a primitive path that intrudes on the natural environment as little as possible. It is of moderate difficulty due to uneven terrain, a few stepping stone brook crossings and some moderately steep hills. The trail follows the Willow Creek gorge, past a picnic area, then up along the banks of the Umpachene River, before circling back through a grove of black cherry trees to the parking area. The New Marlboro Preserve offers a short, enjoyable walk for the whole family or by yourself.
